Cricklewood Broadway and Oaklands Road NW2 – A classic, much improved by the smoking ban of a few years ago. Pedro’s has some of the largest portions in London and has recently benefited from the influx of Poles in the area for the building trade.
Try “Bigos” – Hunters stew or some fantastic meat stuffed dumplings at about the £5 mark. Massive!
A very friendly service too, “Everything better from Poland dharrling!”
Always a haunt for the local characters so lunch can be eventful.
Bike parking is a breeze with plenty of highly visible railing and posts outside.
